Double-Sided Living Wall

In Strasbourg, we designed a living plant partition, conceived as a natural separator between two waiting areas. The challenge was to distinguish these two spaces without closing them off entirely, providing both a visual and an acoustic screen. Our solution is a free-standing double-sided living wall, fitted with integrated automatic irrigation that ensures healthy growth and reduces maintenance. The composition brings together indoor plants with dense foliage, chosen for their hold and soothing effect, visible from both sides of the partition. Standing 2.2 metres high and 1 metre long, this plant partition filters the view, improves acoustic comfort and purifies the ambient air. Beyond its separating function, it creates a soothing biophilic atmosphere well suited to waiting. In Strasbourg, this custom plant scenography turns a simple reception space into a natural, welcoming place that enhances the venue's image.
