A French atelier, projects everywhere
VG.TAL3Design designs and builds its green walls in its atelier in Rouen, Normandy. That is where layouts are drawn, plants selected and panels assembled before installation.
We work across Rouen, Le Havre and all of Normandy, in Paris and the Île-de-France, throughout France and internationally, from Monaco to Shanghai. The study is done remotely from your plans or a few photos.

Frequently asked questions about indoor green walls
Which indoor green wall should I choose: preserved or living?
It depends on the light available and the upkeep you accept. Preserved installs anywhere, even in a windowless room, and needs no watering: it is the default choice for offices and retail. Living requires light and scheduled upkeep, but it brings living greenery to your space and evolves, which makes it ideal for an atrium or a bright lobby.
Does an indoor green wall need a lot of maintenance?
A preserved wall only needs a light dusting once or twice a year, with no watering and no light. A living wall runs on automatic irrigation and needs a regular maintenance visit: pruning, system checks and occasional plant replacement.
Can an indoor green wall go on any wall?
Almost. We first check the substrate (plasterboard, concrete, glazing), its load capacity and the humidity of the room. A free-standing structure is possible where drilling is not allowed, for example in rented premises or a listed building.
How long does an indoor green wall last?
A preserved wall keeps its look for 8 to 10 years indoors, provided you avoid direct UV and humidity below 40%. A living wall has no fixed lifespan as long as it is maintained: the plants renew over the years.
Do you work outside Rouen and Normandy?
Yes. The atelier is based in Rouen, but we deliver projects throughout France (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux) and internationally. The study is done remotely from your plans, then our team travels for the installation.
