Loft Green Wall

Paris • 2021

For a loft in Paris, we designed a living green wall conceived as a touch of nature within a contemporary living space. The constraint was to achieve a dense, finished look from day one, in a small volume and with no waiting time for growth. Our solution relies on plants pre-grown and stored in a greenhouse beforehand, which guarantees an optimal result as soon as it is installed at our clients' home. The hydroponic living wall is fitted with integrated automatic irrigation that keeps maintenance minimal. The composition brings together indoor plants with dense foliage, chosen for their hold and their shades of green. Standing 2.2 metres high and 1 metre long, this green wall structures the space, improves acoustic comfort and purifies the ambient air. In Paris, this custom plant scenography brings a soothing biophilic atmosphere to the loft and creates a natural focal point that lastingly enhances the interior.
