Office Green Wall

Lyon • 2023

As part of the fit-out of an open space in Lyon, VG.TAL3Design designed a living green wall 2.5 metres high by 4 metres long, that is 10 sq m of indoor nature. Made of two linked modules and nearly 200 plants of tropical origin (philodendrons, pothos, ferns and calatheas), it belongs to our Oxygène range. The constraint: to green a bright office floor while keeping maintenance under control. The installation includes a closed-circuit automatic irrigation system and discreet horticultural lighting, for healthy air-purifying plants all year round. Beyond aesthetics, this office greening project improves air quality, the open space's acoustics and the teams' wellbeing, while asserting the company's environmental commitment. This project illustrates VG.TAL3Design's expertise in bespoke living green walls, with integrated irrigation and specialised maintenance, for open spaces, offices and professional spaces, in Lyon and across France.
