Terrace Green Wall

Paris • 2020

In Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, we designed a living green wall for the layout of an outdoor terrace, meant to turn an open-air living space into a vertical garden. The constraint was to achieve a dense, finished look from installation, in a seaside environment exposed to wind and sea spray. Our solution relies on plant panels pre-grown in our greenhouses, which ensures an optimal result from day one, combined with automatic irrigation suited to outdoor conditions. The composition brings together perennial and evergreen plants chosen for their resistance to the coastal climate. Standing 2 metres high and 2 metres long, this living green wall dresses the terrace with a dense natural presence, improves thermal comfort and creates a soothing biophilic atmosphere. In Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, this custom plant scenography creates an intimate corner of greenery and brings lasting aesthetic value to the outdoor space.
