Botanical Frames

Lyon • 2020

In Lyon, we designed a series of plant pictures for a private client, conceived as natural wall artworks to hang in the home. The challenge was to bring a decorative, modular plant presence, with no watering or maintenance constraint. Our solution relies on preserved plants, natural and maintenance-free, that need neither water nor light and keep their freshness for years. Each picture combines flat mosses, ball mosses and preserved foliage within a frame, creating dense compositions with varied relief and shades of green. Hung together or separately, these plant pictures dress the walls like true living paintings, improve acoustic comfort and create a soothing biophilic atmosphere. In Lyon, these custom preserved plant pictures bring an elegant, lasting touch of nature to the interior, easy to fit into any room and free of any maintenance for their owner.
