Pharmacy Green Ceiling

Genève • 2021

In Geneva, we created a preserved plant ceiling for a pharmacy, to offer a soothing, natural atmosphere to customers and staff alike. The challenge was to green the ceiling of a busy healthcare space, with no maintenance and no risk of moisture above the products. Our solution relies on preserved plants, natural and maintenance-free, that need neither water nor light and keep their brightness for years. Made on site, the composition is suspended from a technical grid, which creates an aerial relief and a unique visual effect above customers. Flat mosses, ball mosses and preserved foliage form a dense, enveloping plant sky. This plant scenography improves acoustic comfort, beautifies the space and creates a biophilic atmosphere conducive to wellbeing. In Geneva, this preserved plant ceiling turns a functional ceiling into a natural signature that reassures customers, enhances the pharmacy's image and leaves a lasting mark on the in-store experience.
