Wellness Green Wall

Lisbonne • 2024

In Lisbon, VG.TAL3Design created a bespoke preserved green wall for a wellness space, blending forest mosses, lichen, silver eucalyptus, ferns and trailing foliage for a natural cascade effect. The challenge: to create a soothing, lush plant presence in a place dedicated to relaxation, with no watering or maintenance constraints. Our workshop combined these preserved species for their complementary textures and shades, from the deep greens of the mosses to the silvery glints of the eucalyptus, playing on the trailing fronds to suggest the movement of a plant cascade. Being preserved, these plants keep their softness and natural colour for years with no maintenance at all, an ideal solution for a spa or wellness space where living plants would be fragile. This natural presence reinforces the cocooning, restorative feel sought in such places. This project illustrates VG.TAL3Design's expertise in bespoke preserved green walls for spas, wellness spaces and exceptional interiors, in Lisbon and across Europe.
