Double-Sided Water Wall

In Paris, we created a partition-style water wall whose water is accessible from both sides, to separate two spaces while linking them through a single natural element. The challenge was to design a double-sided water wall that was perfectly watertight and silent, able to structure an open volume without visually closing it off. Our solution is a textured surface down which water flows continuously on each side, fed by a low-consumption closed circuit. The movement of the water and its gentle sound atmosphere bring freshness and calm to both spaces. Standing 2.5 metres high and 4 metres long, this water wall becomes a living partition that filters the view, improves acoustic comfort and creates an immersive biophilic atmosphere. Designed bespoke, it acts as an elegant, natural separator. In Paris, this water scenography turns the passage between two zones into a sensory experience and lastingly enhances the interior layout.
