Apartment Mural

Paris • 2024

For a Parisian apartment, VG.TAL3Design designed a monumental preserved plant fresco that completely transforms the atmosphere of the living room. The challenge: to bring nature into the heart of an urban interior on a large scale, without the constraints of a living green wall, no watering, no lighting, no regular upkeep. Our workshop composed a vast fresco in preserved mosses and foliage, working the reliefs and green gradients to create a genuine plant scene that dresses the wall from floor to ceiling. Being preserved, these plants keep their softness and natural colour for years with no maintenance at all, an ideal solution for an apartment where living plants would be demanding. This plant presence soothes the living space and gives it a unique natural signature. This project illustrates VG.TAL3Design's expertise in bespoke preserved plant frescoes and green walls for exceptional residential interiors, in Paris and across France.
