Suspended Botanical Decor

Marseille • 2024

In Marseille, VG.TAL3Design designed a preserved plant décor to dress an architectural structure, following its lines and relief. The challenge: to green not a wall but a volume suspended from the ceiling, creating an airy, immersive plant effect that accompanies the architecture without weighing it down. Our workshop shaped a composition of preserved mosses and foliage, studied to follow the curves of the structure and offer a fluid reading from the floor. Suspended overhead, this décor brings an elegant, light touch of nature, like a floating canopy above the space. Being preserved, these plants need no water, light or pruning and keep their vibrancy for years with no maintenance at all, a decisive asset for a hard-to-reach ceiling installation. This project illustrates VG.TAL3Design's expertise in bespoke preserved green ceilings and plant décor for professional spaces and exceptional venues, in Marseille and across France.
