Botanical Cascade

Rouen • 2021

In Rouen, we created a preserved plant cascade, conceived as a flowing vertical decor that mimics the trickle of a natural waterfall. The challenge was to create an effect of movement and depth on a wall, with no watering or maintenance constraint whatsoever. Our solution relies on preserved plants, natural and maintenance-free, that need neither water nor light and keep their suppleness for years. Flat mosses, ball mosses, lichens and preserved foliage are assembled in gradients to evoke the slide of a plant cascade. Conceived as a true wall artwork, this plant scenography brings relief and visual freshness to the space while improving acoustic comfort and creating a soothing biophilic atmosphere. In Rouen, this custom preserved green wall offers a decorative, lasting solution that catches the eye, becomes a natural focal point and lastingly enhances the interior with no maintenance at all.
